INITIAL SITUATION
For the Swiss private jet company Premium Jet The challenge was to present safety instructions for a heterogeneous fleet in a uniform manner. Despite the different aircraft models, the same real film was used so far, which originally replaced the personal presentation by a flight attendant.
This solution was visually inflexible and could only be adapted to new models with considerable effort.

CONCEPT AND IMPLEMENTATION
The solution lay in developing an animated film based on reduced vector graphics. Through the abstracted illustration style, a clear, timeless and brand-compliant visual language could be created that works independently of real cabin layouts. The focus was on clarity, recognizability and technical precision – without visual overload.
My task was to design the illustrations, in collaboration with a friend who mastered the animation part.

EFFICIENCY & SKALABILITY
A crucial advantage of the concept lies in the modular structure of the animation. For different aircraft models, only the respective aircraft itself and the top view had to be adapted.
All the other safety elements – such as putting on the lifejacket or behavioral instructions – could be taken from the existing animation. This resulted in a cost-efficient, scalable solution for a growing fleet.
